Former president Donald Trump shocks critics, returns to the White House in historic contest, demystifying the Obama magic in the process and dispelling the notion that America was ready for a female president

Kamala Harris got it all wrong on the 10th day of September 2024, during the CNN presidential debate when she openly made jest at Donald Trump saying “The whole world is mocking you!” This is the same Donald Trump, the 46th President of the United States of America that she is throwing tantrums! She may be the Vice President of the United States, but on this night, she goofed badly, losing the respect of many otherwise undecided voters who sit on the fence. Throughout the 107 days the campaign lasted, Kamala Harris focused more on the peripherals believing that she already won the election based on Trump’s controversial situation. It proved to be a serious mistake. No matter what, Trump still has his crowd, and not a few know about this! Kamala then tried to use his perceived shortcomings to ride the waves calling him a “liar” as well as a convicted felon! But she failed to reckon that America needed change –not fashionistas and stylish representatives.
This was the swagger she displayed all through her blistering campaign until America spoke early morning of November 6, 2024! It wasn’t a mere statement; it was an emphatic victory and a firm rejection of whatever she stood for; America wasn’t going to surrender her sovereignty to a woman just yet! By a margin of 295 to 226 electoral votes, convincingly demystified the so-called Obama magic; they also sent a strong message to the Cable Network News (CNN) that beneath their disgusting lies the truth was yet obvious; and to the world, Americans recognized the need to take back their country from the rampant Islamic agenda. Above all, Trump’s victory symbolized Americans’ rejection of the so-called conventional ways of administration; with Trump, they have now signaled for a new era of down-to-earth reality, an era devoid of high inflation and the upsurge in undocumented criminals from neighboring countries. On his part, Donald Trump deserves kudos for braving the trials and persecution unleashed against him by the Establishment; he was arraigned, placed in the dock, and convicted! Nothing could have broken a man’s spirit more than those debilitating moments.
But Trump remained unmoved each time delivering scathing remarks about what he considered offensive and “horrifying” American principles. He survived the crushing blows largely because he understood the American system more than those born after him, and again because those watching his travails both within and outside America dreaded having a woman as American president! What’s more, many of them do not understand the jargon spoken by CNN and their cohorts; they do not understand what a “swing state” represents not to mention “battleground states”; ask them about Arizona, Michigan, Wisconsin, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Georgia, they don’t understand that some states could play key roles to determine the outcome of a presidential election; they want dramatics, they want signs and wonders; Fortunately, Donald Trump represents all that.
Today, the boisterous and self-made billionaire has bounced back to fame more than his enemies ever bargained for. He may be unpredictable, volatile, and sometimes irritating, but who is better placed to confront vicious renegades like Ali Khamenei of Iran, and Kim Jong of North Korea? Kamala Harris may have the charisma and the appealing looks, but the world today cannot afford such niceties—especially America. Where Donald Trump lacks the style and the panache, he has the cowboy bravado in abundance—unlike Kamala who is polished. It would be good in the coming years for the world to witness the opposite of established norms and be treated to some comical theatrics. This is what Trump is bringing to the table. The Republicans kept their macho approach intact and sided wholeheartedly with their man while the Democrats talked grammar; that has no place in today’s America where lunatics abound shooting innocent children as though they were ducks—all because of the Democrats’ weak leadership!
The two lessons to be learned from this victory are for the Cable Network News (CNN) to be more cautious in their news coverage; they have been so disgusting in recent weeks, especially of Trump; and the other is for the Obamas to know that Americans can do better without their contrived advice. In her concession speech, Kamala Harris said she did so with total respect to the Constitution of America, which is good; she did not try to prove that as a “sitting” vice-president”, she was going to land in court as they do in Africa where elections are the veritable recipe for war. But one tough lesson for her is this: never mock a former president openly, more so, a macho personality. Therein lies the good side of American elections—freedom in all ramifications!
