Former Minister of Education and Senator representing Kano Central, Ibrahim Shekarau has described Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State as reckless, irresponsible over an alleged demolition of mosque in the state.
He said “this is an attempt to truncate this nation’s democracy; it is a serious security threat”. Shekarau said this is not the first time that Governor Wike would show his recklessness in utterances and action.
Meanwhile, Kano State Governor, Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje has vowed to sue Governor Wike over the same issue. The mosque is located at Trans-Amadi Area, Port Harcourt is known as Rainbow Town Central Mosque.
