The embattled Head of Service of the Federation has come out to clarify some burning issues surrounding her recent ordeal with the EFCC. She said “I do not own proxy companies under any guise and no upscale properties anywhere in Abuja” She said further “Some people came to me for introduction to some permanent secretaries and I have been doing this without knowing the implication”.
She also made known that the Level 12 officer in whose account N600million was found reports to a director of Finance who in turn reports to a permanent secretary before her. “So, how was I to know that such money was existing?”
She went on to explain that the so-called level 12 officer who is also a Project Accountant is not her aide although he is a staff in the office of the Head of Service of the Federation. On collecting estacodes without travelling, she said “Yes, due to work pressure, I may not be in position to travel”.
The embattled HOS added” I have been very loyal to this Administration”. Now, the ball is in the court of Mr President whether he will axe one of his won who had endured with him in the PTF days.
