I wish to publicly reaffirm my absolute and unshakable loyalty to the All Progressives Congress (APC), the party under which I had the privilege of serving Lagos State as governor in 2015, and to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, my leader, mentor, and a tireless champion for Nigeria’s progress.
As we look ahead to the 2027 general elections, I am fully committed to working for the re-election of President Tinubu. My dedication to his vision and aspirations for our nation is total, and I have been working diligently to advance his programmes and strengthen our great party. Nothing will distract me from this mission.
President Tinubu is a proven achiever, a goal-driven, result-oriented leader who continues to open doors of opportunity for Nigerians, particularly our youth. From reforms benefiting pensioners to improved access to student loans to creating platforms for young leaders to emerge, his actions speak louder than words.
I am convinced that, given another four years, Nigerians will have even greater reason to celebrate. His focus, determination, and inclusive governance style are restoring hope and delivering tangible results, from the elimination of fuel scarcity to enhanced security measures and policies that directly impact the lives of ordinary citizens.
I am aware of recent false publications seeking to misrepresent my position or distract me by claiming that I have gubernatorial ambitions under the African Democratic Congress (ADC). Such things are not unusual in politics, and I remain unperturbed. My focus is on the bigger picture: the success of President Tinubu’s administration and the continued progress of Nigeria under the APC. As 2027 approaches, I expect more of such distractions, but I will not be deterred.
Let it be clear: I stand solidly with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress. We will work together to ensure victory in 2027 to continue delivering the dividends of democracy to all Nigerians.
